Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a great opportunity to teach your children about Dr. King and America’s history of injustice, the Civil Rights Movement, and the long, ongoing march towards equality. Register to stop by Allaire Community Farm to lend a hand…we encourage children to participate as well….can’t make it, consider giving a donation of any amount. All donations are tax deductible. The New Jersey Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Commission is proud to host our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative event. This year’s program will include guest speakers, music, arts, and a Law Enforcement & Community Relations— Police Encounters Panel Discussion, all of which will honor the life and legacy of Dr. King as well as commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball. This is a FREE event and is open to the general public.
