2016 Veterans Day Freebies in Central NJ

Many restaurants are offering veterans and active duty military free meals and other discounts. Here’s a roundup of places where our veterans and active military can enjoy great food with their families! It is recommended that you call ahead to see if your local restaurant is participating in these offers.

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza
Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza is offering a complimentary small order of Meatballs with Ricotta Cheese to any active or former United States Armed Forces personnel on Friday, November 11. In addition, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza restaurants will be dropping off complimentary lunch to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Centers in the brand’s regions throughout Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.

Buffalo Wild Wings
All day long on Friday, November 11, 2016, Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in the U.S. will provide a complimentary order of wings and a side of fries to veterans and active duty military to thank them for their dedication and service. At participating locations.


Chevys Fresh Mex
On Friday, November 11, all veterans and active duty servicemen and women that dine-in at its Clifton or Linden locations will receive a free entrée with proof of service. Guests can choose from a select menu including sizzling Fajitas, Grilled Tacos, a Quesadilla Burger, Chicken Caesar Salad, Salsa Chicken or Fajita Quesadillas and a variety of create-your-own combos featuring Mexican staples like Tamales, Chile Relleno and Enchiladas. The Veteran’s Day promotion allows Chevys Fresh Mex to say thank you to military members for their service and the sacrifices they and their families make each and every day.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is offering a special buy-one-get-one (BOGO) promotion from 3:00 p.m. to close on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, 2016. BOGOs will be offered to all active duty military, reserves, national guard, military spouses, retired military with a valid U.S. military ID and veterans with ID, at all restaurants in the US from 3:00 p.m. to close, local time, on Veterans Day. The offer is valid on burritos, bowls, salads and taco orders.
Participating Coffee Beanery locations across the country will offer a free tall cup of fresh brewed coffee all day on November 11th. Veterans and active duty military will need to provide their military identification for the offer.
This Veterans Day, Denny’s is honoring America’s heroes by inviting active, inactive and retired military personnel to stop by for a free Build Your Own Grand Slam® on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2016, from 5 a.m. to noon at participating locations.
Veterans who eat at Dickey’s can enjoy a delicious free meal which includes a sandwich, side and a Big Yellow Cup, up to a $12 total value. On Veterans Day 2016, Famous Dave’s is offering former and current military personnel a free Two Meat Salute served with a cornbread muffin and your choice  of one side. At participating locations.
Friendly’s is treating veterans and active military to a free breakfast, lunch or dinner on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2016.

This Veterans Day, Hooters invites all active-duty and retired military nationwide to enjoy a free meal as a “thank you” for their service. On Wednesday, Nov. 11, all veterans and active-duty military personnel can enjoy an entrée on the house.

On Veteran’s Day, November 11, participating IHOP restaurants around the nation will be honoring the brave men and women who have served, or are serving, in the United States military by offering them free Red, White and Blue pancakes from 7am to 7pm. Select IHOP restaurants will also offer a combo of two eggs, hash browns and choice of two bacon strips or pork sausage links as part of the Red, White & Blue Pancake promotion for retired and active duty military personnel.

Veterans and active duty military are offered a free buffet on November 11, 2016 from 4pm to close.


On Friday, November 11, all veterans and active duty military will receive a free entrée with proof of service when they dine-in at their local Lube. Guests can choose from a select menu including signature wings, 12-pack of breaded boneless wings, the full lineup of beefed-up steakburgers, all chicken sandwiches and wraps and the QS&L Boneless Wing Salad.


To thank veterans, active duty military and reservists for their service, Red Lobster is offering a free appetizer or dessert, Thursday, November 10 and Friday, November 11.

Red Robin is inviting all veterans and active duty military members to enjoy a free Red’s Tavern Double burger with Bottomless Steak Fries on Veterans Day.

Ruby Tuesday is offering veterans, active duty and reserve service members a free appetizer on Veterans Day.
TGI Fridays is offering veterans and active duty military a free lunch at participating locations from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All past and current members of the U.S. military will receive a free breakfast combo or Castle Combo Meal #1-6 on November 11 at participating White Castle restaurants.
